Add network storage

You can do this directly in the native Pixel Brite app, without setting up Media Server.

  1. Add a source

    Open Files, then choose Add File Source or Add Share, depending on the device.

  2. Enter the connection details

    Choose SMB, SFTP, NFS, or WebDAV. Enter the address and any credentials required by the source.

  3. Browse and play

    Open the source, select a file, and press Play. Playback can start without downloading the whole file.

Supported sources

SMB, SFTP, NFSv3, NFSv4, and WebDAV. You can seek through a movie on any of these sources without downloading the whole file first.
