Set up Pixel Satellite
Install Python, mpv, and zeroconf on the computer or Raspberry Pi, then connect its audio output to the stereo. Keep it on the same local network as the controlling device.
Download and start Satellite
Unpack the bundle for the computer or Raspberry Pi. Follow its included setup instructions and connect the audio output.
Choose the speaker
In the Pixel Brite app, open Now Playing → Choose Speaker and select the Satellite.
Send the music
Press play. Satellite takes over the queue, so the controlling app can close or leave the network.
Use a trusted local network: anyone who can reach Satellite on that network can control it. Guest Wi-Fi may prevent devices from finding each other.
