Choose what to record and how to keep it.

One programme or a whole series

Choose Record once for a single broadcast or Record series to schedule matching programmes as the guide updates. Set extra time before and after a programme, and choose whether to record new episodes only.

A channel and a time window

Use Schedule recording to choose a channel, start time and duration. Record by time when a guide listing doesn’t cover what you want to save.

Saved recordings and retention

Open Recordings to review scheduled broadcasts and play completed recordings. Set how many episodes a rule keeps, and protect individual recordings from automatic deletion.

The tuner receives. Media Server records.

HDHomeRun tuner: A compatible network tuner supplies the channels available from its connected TV source.
Media Server & storage: Media Server handles live viewing and saves recordings. Keep it running for scheduled broadcasts, with storage available for the recordings.
Programme guide: A guide source supplies programme names, times and series information. Match it to the tuner’s channels to browse and record from the schedule.
